*responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to the company President and Chief Executive Officer (PCEO), the corporate and regional boards of directors, regional chief executive officers and executive management, on a variety of issues arising in a complex organization in a heavily regulated environment. *providing: legal counsel on a variety of health care business, corporate and commercial matters; oversight of claims and litigation affecting company and its facilities; structuring, negotiating, and oversight for contracts and business transactions; advice to the Corporation and other management as to legal rights, obligations, liabilities and risks in the planning and operation of the health care facilities including governance; and advice regarding planning and development of not for profit and for profit entities, and their related governance, to allow regional systems to meet the needs of their communities consistent with company’s mission.
